What's in a name? In Our McGee name?
In the late 1920's young orphan Mr Bob Magee travelled from Ireland to England. He started in Sussex and then settled in Kent. Met his Wife and began a Family in Challock. The family name was altered to 'McGee' (MUR_GEE) after ongoing problems with the local pronunciation of 'Magee' coming out as 'MAGEEY' when it should have been 'MUR_GEE'.
